Stick A Fork In Me... I'm Done!

This week, I sent out over 300 boarding pass invitations. It's such a relief to have them out of my hair, and to have all of the supplies put away. I promised I'd post pics of my "little project," so here they are:

This is the boarding pass with its little jacket...
The passes are made of three cards: 1) invitation, 2) location info, 3) booking info
The pass tucked inside its little jacket...
What the cards looked like before we cut all 975 of them apart.
This was a do-it-yourself project that took on a life of its own, but in the end, it feels like it was worth it. My guests seem to enjoy them, and many of them thought they were professionally made. Doing it this way saved us money, while allowing us to share a lot of information about the DW with the guests that we wouldn't have been able to fit onto a standard formal invitation. Till next time...

I love them, and my post will go live tomorrow AM, but they look awesome. I "paint" (my version of photoshopped) your last names out though, just so you don't get any stalkers :) (like me) at the wedding!

Kelly, those are absolutely, hands down the coolest invitations I have ever seen! They may have been a lot of trouble but they are definitely worth it!

We had ours in the mail when we returned and TC and I both were so impressed! I can't believe how professional and amazing these were -- and to think you did this on your own. I was already impressed but this just puts you over the top!

Good job.

OMG Kel! I can't believe you made the invitations yourself-wow!! Um, whenever I find the man of my dreams (ok, don't hold your breath but still-lol) I am hiring you!! I'm trying to figure out my plan, but I'm going to try my best to make it!

So cute. We're going with message in a bottle for our destination wedding but I'm thinking something like a boarding pass for the reply card.
